Scale or Hard Water
Water Softeners
M & B Water Treatment of Weatherford uses high quality water softeners manufactured by Fleck & Clack (controls) for sale and rent. After testing your water and analyzing water usage we can recommend what style and size softener you need.
How Does Water Softening Work?
A water softener has a resin tank containing thousands of tiny resin beads that hold a natural occuring electrical charge. When freshly regenerated using salt, the beads become full of sodium ions instead of the calcium or magnesium ions from the softening salt. Then as hard water passes through the softener system, the calcium and magnesium ions are attracted to the regenerated resin beads. There sodium ions are exchanged or released for the calcium magnesium ions to attach to the resin beads. The system then delivers soft water for your use.
Iron and or Hydrogen Sulfide
Iron Removal & Hydrogen Sulfide (Rotten Egg Smell)
For our customers who have iron and/or hydrogen sulfide issues.
There are a couple of ways for us to remove these contaminants. This is dependent on several factors. Both of these require to be oxidized using either chemical, air or ozone. The most common way we achieve this is using an Iron Breaker by Charger Water Water Treatment for both iron and/or hydrogen sulfide.
UV or Ultra Violet Light
Bacteria
There are several ways we treat for Bacteria. Ultraviolet Light is a process that leaves Bacteria unable to reproduce therefore making it harmless to your body. Chlorine will also kill bacteria, there are some limits to using chlorine, mixing and filling of a chlorine tank & the possibility of undesirable byproducts left in your water.
Reverse Osmosis

This style system produces very high quality drinking water in the convenience of your own kitchen. Ask about a rental also.
Commercial Units available, & sized to your needs. Upto 4000 gallons per day available.
